Hi my name is Steve and I’m 15 years old. I’m from California, which is located on the west coast of the United States. Some of my interests include photography and film making, music, abstract art and poetry. I’m in the 10th grade in high school, and I don’t really have many friends. I’m not really sure what I’m here for anymore, I used to enjoy making lots of friends but it gets overwhelming sometimes trying to talk to so many people, but if you want to talk I’ll try my best to get back to you, it just might take a while sometimes. I’m not really good at making small talk. In fact I’m really bad at it and I hate it, but I do really well with deep and meaningful conversations, and if you’re the same then maybe we can share a few. Anyways here’s the rest of my page...
My friends like to say that I know a little bit about everything, so there’s lots of things I can talk about. I’m really passionate about art and creating stories, one of my dreams is becoming a film maker, and so I always enjoy talking about really good movies. I’m also very passionate about music and I take it pretty seriously, I don’t really view movies and music as just forms of entertainment, for me it’s an art form. Art in general is just something I’m very passionate about. I’m also a really big fan of comic books and comic book characters. I’m the biggest nerd you’ll ever meet, I also take THAT very seriously too. Okay so pretty much all of my interests are something that mean a lot to me, nothing is ever just “whatever” if that makes any sense. I like having really long conversations, because I’m really awkward when it comes to small talk. I also like to share a lot of the music I listen to, so if you’re interested in expanding your tastes, go right ahead and ask me
A personal challenge of mine is overcoming my anxiety. It runs in my family, usually the women but I happened to take it instead of my sister. I’m somewhat sociable online and when I’m with people I know, but I start to freak out whenever I’m in unfamiliar settings all by myself. And because of this I don’t have much friends, I’m really awkward in person and I don’t really understand how to make conversation with a bunch of people who are completely different than I am, because I live in a very hostile and dangerous environment, and I’m extremely different from everybody. It’s honestly really hard sometimes but I’ve gotten used to it, so it doesn’t bother me much anymore
You couldn’t possibly tell from my photos, but ever since I was 7 years old I struggled with my weight. My dad would try and put me in sports and stuff but I just kept on getting bigger and it was harder for me to maintain my weight. And then I just kept on getting fatter and fatter as I got older. The heaviest I’ve ever been was 230 lbs, and that was around May 2018. But around July or September of 2018 I decided that I needed to lose weight immediately, so for the past 11 months I’ve been working diligently on my weight loss and I started a ketogenic diet at the very beginning of this year, on January 3rd. Now it’s June of 2019, and I’m at 155 lbs standing at around 5’7”. And for the first time ever I’m no longer considered overweight on the BMI scale, and that is easily my most proudest accomplishment
Wow, I have a lot of these. Okay I’ll start off with books, definitely my two favorite books that I’ve read are 1984 by George Orwell and Forrest Gump by Winston Groom. I’m also a really big fan of H.P. Lovecraft.
Now my favorite movies.. okay my favorite comic book movies: Constantine, Watchmen, Man of Steel, Spider-Man 2 (Tobey Maguire), Captain America: Civil War, The Dark Knight, Into The Spider-verse. My favorite war movies: Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, and Saving Private Ryan. Now my other favorite movies that are of different categories would be Interstellar, Nightcrawler, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Fight Club, The King of Comedy, Akira, and 9. Yeah I know, it’s a lot.
I really like to learn about folklore and general knowledge of customs and way of life for people living in other countries. I know that outside of the United States manners and customs are very different and learning more about these things will benefit me in the future in case I happen to visit the country
I would really like to visit Russia or Japan. It’s tough between the two but I lean more towards Japan.
I’ve seen most of the whole west coast of the United States. I’ve been to Minnesota, Boston, New York, Washington DC, and Hawaii. But I’ve only ever been outside of the country once and that was to Cancun, Mexico
I’m pretty good at photography, and a lot of my friends say I write amazing poetry so there’s that
